計畫簡介

Background

To fulfill the spirit of gender equity education, the Ministry of Education commissioned the National University of Tainan Gender Empowerment Research Center to promote the "Preschool Gender Equity Education Curriculum Integration Project." This project aims to embed gender equity values from the ground up, integrating awareness of gender diversity from the earliest stages of education to cultivate children's capacity to respect difference and overcome gender bias. Through systematic curriculum design, gender equity becomes not merely a slogan, but a core value established from childhood.

During the project period, the center team visited and provided guidance to preschools across Taiwan, helping early childhood educators enhance their gender equity knowledge and skills, and developing age-appropriate teaching materials and activity plans. Through workshops, training sessions, and classroom observation activities, the project established a support network for promoting gender equity in preschools, enabling teachers to naturally integrate gender equity issues into everyday teaching and create a friendly and inclusive learning environment.
